Breath of Fresh Air – Geek Vision
Geek Vision was born in a little town across The Channel in France called Paris. This is where two young chaps met at Art school but they weren’t any two ordinary chaps.
No, as they progressed through Art School their skills improved and they decided to start up a t-shirt brand using their Graphic Design and Photography Skills.
Their current t-shirt range is very raw (See below to nod your head in agreement) and their photography is comparable with the likes of Terry Richardson, David LaChapelle & Yonemara Yone Yasumasa.
You get your mits on these t-shirts here and you can also check out their blog here. Check out the pics below!
King Spring 2010 Collection
As we were rummaging through our inbox, we noticed the guys over at King hit us up with a preview of their Spring 2010 line. Notably being successful in working with New Era, being the only UK label creating specialised and exclusive ly designed 5950 fitted caps, their new collection shouldn’t go amiss.
Bold colours and slogans always go well with t-shirts and it seems their designs are getting better as the label grows. It’s a shame their pop-up store in Covent Garden closed earlier this month, because judging from their Spring 2010 LookBook, there seems to be quite a few nice pieces i’d like to get. Word has it though that there already planning the venue of their new pop-up store, so we’ll keep you posted on the launch.
Head on over to King to get the lowdown on where you can find stockists and online stores.

55DSL have been celebrating all year haven’t they? I remember earlier this year they celebrated the opening of their store in Causeway Bay Hong Kong with a set from the Bloody Beetroots and they have also celebrated their 15th anniversary.
In May, they collaborated with Adidas Originals to bring you the XV/55 55DSL x Adidas Originals Nizza Hi and they have since teamed up once more which is just as special. There has just been a release of a series of 5 t-shirts which ooze any synonym of the word “cool”. The people behind the designs are VASAVA Studio and you can check them out here.
These little treasures are available from all 55DSL and Adidas Original Stores Worldwide.

Breath of Fresh Air – Michael Jackson Is Not Dead By Wrongwroks
Wearing this tee is one way to get looks in the street isn’t it?!? Don’t worry Wrongwroks are not a “One Trick Pony” NO WAY! For me, they are without one of the most underrated street wear brands out there. The Taiwanese outfit have been around for a while and I have had one eye on them since I purchased one of their earliest designs (Doradimon) a few years back.
Throughout their Collection you will see that they have taken inspiration from a lot of designers, Cute Taiwanese girls and cartoon characters like: Marc Jacobs, Takashi Murakami, Supreme, PLAY by Comme des Garcons Sponge Bob Square-pants, Doraemon and many more. As you can see, these designs do come with the Wrongwroks special touch and at a fraction of the price of their designer counterparts.
Available from their site and various other international retailers which can also be found on their site!

Colouring in with Dim Mak & Steve Aoki!

The man who created this machine is the man who represents “Japanese America” who goes by the name of Steve Aoki. As you can see it’s very playful, so playful infact that they’ll chuck in a set of markers for you to have a mess around to make it your very own. Available from the Dim Mak website. Love it!
Smudge the Bear – A Breath of Fresh Air
Last weekend I was wandering the streets of Shoreditch with my usual swagger but suddenly I was stopped in my tracks by Smudge the Bear. Consisting of two London-based fresh faced lads Smudge the Bear also come with with fresh ideas!
Their approach is very different from all the other up and coming brands in all corners of the world, from the eye-catching photo-collage T shirt designs to the Pizza Box style bag that the T-shirt comes in once purchased.
Their stall is located opposite the Sunday Upmarket in the Brick lane area where you will also be able to see their folding machine and accordion style sofa. Their first batch is still available with the next batch of designs being released within the next month (Don’t worry we’ll let you know just before it hits their stall). Also visit their website.
Anyway, as “A picture is worth a thousand words” check out the pictures from their latest collection below…

Fingercroxx X Ricky Powell X Work N Play
This collaboration has just released a nice collection of T-shirts featuring Beastie Boys & Run DMC. Ricky Powell was raised in New York and his photography is very iconic of the early hip-hop scene in the 1980’s.
