Visvim Autumn 2009 Collection
I know it’s at the height of the Summer and all but after all these Sales are finished our shops will be full of winter warmers so lets look at one of most solid collections for this Autumn. For those who don’t know, Visvim is a Japanese designer which makes a wide range of clothes as exhibited by this Collection. Even though the Collection maybe varied, one thing has and will remain common throughout this Collection and every single collection that has been and will be released. That theme is that each garment will be made with the highest quality materials and workmanship.
This years collection features many garments from previous collections but they are now available in different colours. The Collection also features items which are new like the tweed blazer, School Blazers, Barbour type jackets and some lovely pastel coloured shirts.
My main highlights of the Collection are:
- The choice of colours on the panels of the shirts and knitwear
- The craftsmanship on the Gore-tex Jackets
- The elbow patches on the tweed blazers

Junya Watanabe – 2010 Spring Collection
The latest contemporary offering from Junya Watanabe is very nice indeed and is also a good indication of how Men’s fashion will evolve over the coming months. The collection takes on many of the features of the moment and combines them with a slight twist. Roll ups, Trilby hats and pastel coloured trousers are still in but the new features of the collection are cravats, fitted tweed/check blazers and flat caps. I like how these new features like the typically formal cravat mixes well with a pair of standard fit denim jeans.

Moses likes… Dr. G – Man Care Vital Energising Eye Gel
Dr. G is developed by Dr. Gun-Yong Ahn, the founder of Gowoonsesang, the world’s 2nd largest medical skin care group. 20 years of his clinical expertise on skin restoration is behind the birth of Dr.G. It all started in a land far away called Korea in a medical school. Dr. Gun-Yong Ahn still had a facial burn from his childhood but during Medical School he treated his own scar whilst restoring skin of many patients. Gradually he gained a reputation for skin restoration. From then on he developed Dr.G by request of patient who wanted daily skin care after the dermatological treatment.
Anyways, lets talk about the actual product. The last eye cream I tried was pants so i decided to place my faith in a Sales Assistant whom guided me to Dr. G. I had my doubts at first as the price was fairly cheap ($28.40 US) and the gel was clear and watery…(reminded me of Biotherm). Those doubts quickly evaporated when i could feel and see the difference even after 12 hours of application. My skin around the eye felt so soft and supple, the dark circles around the eye were dramatically reduced after about 4 days of use given that I have a decent sleep!
Overall, this eye gel is no miracle by any means but it does perform a whole lot better than most of the “leaders” in Men’s skincare. The nearest competitor in terms of performance from my experience would be N.V. Perricone and will burn a considerably bigger hole in you wallet than Dr. G. I haven’t tried the other products available but I’m sure they’re better than your average and great value for money.
Availiable from Sasa. Also, check out the rest of the Dr. G skincare range!

What do you need in this type of weather? A stylish coat that will turn heads and keep you warm effortlessly. Well, although we are coming towards the end of Winter, our Spring months are still cold as ever. Moses knows the three brands that can keep you warm until Summer!
Roll Up, Roll Up
We may be getting ahead of ourselves but my Spider/Trend sense is tingling for this Spring/Summer season.
Here is one which has been on the streets of Shoreditch for a while but has now hit the highstreet. Its the roll up trouser/ankle swinger look and these featured stone cotton slim fits can be found on topman.com.

Kiks TYO X Shanadoo
Following my previous article (including a saucy photo shoot! video). The first release between Shanadoo and Kiks TYO is now available on pre-order. This will be the first of 4 tees to be released as a part of this collaboration.
Another available release is from the Yuko Ishida series. This is the second Yuko Ishida tee for S/S 2009 and is vastly different from the usual Kiks TYO tee, for a start it’s black and the background detail reminds me of Tron.
Moses likes… Gatsby Moving Rubber
You’re more than welcome to prove me wrong but Gatsby reigns as hair product king in my books! Why? Their moving rubber range virtually covers any type of hair and texture.
